                                                                            "ISA IS LIKE THIS"

Isabella, born in 1965,under the sign of scorpio, in the north of Holland. Traveller since early years, she grew up in a Tibetan budhist monastry in France. At age 15, she returned to Amsterdam, to initiate a career as a proffessional tattooist, receiving her apprenticeship at an infamous tattoo studio in the city's red light district. In those days she was than operating under the artist name "Morbella".
Further travelling, brought about by her trade, took her to Mexico, where she fell in love with the culture, and spend a few years, persuing a second carreer as a Torera, which took her back to Spain, where she has kept a home base, for the last 20 years, in Andalucia.
With time she has been concentrating more on her painting skills, mostly acrylic on canvas, also book and record covers, illustration and big circus decoration, and so on. Unable to sit still for very long, she regularly takes her travelling Art Gallery, "Todos mis Muertos" on a journey, visiting Norway, most parts of Europe, the Balcans and India. Her own particular style inspired in her bohemian way of life, where erotism, religion, love and death, walk hand in hand through the great circus of existence...

Isabella, nacida en 1965 bajo el signo de escorpio en el norte de Holanda.Viajante desde temprana edad, creció en un monasterio Buddhista Tibetano, en Francia. Volvió a Amsterdam a la edad de 15 años, para iniciar una carrera de tatuador profesional, recibiendo su aprendizaje en un estudio infame del Barrio Rojo de esta ciudad. Ella entonces operaba bajo el nombre artístico  "Morbella".
Continuos viajes debido a su oficio la llevaron a México, donde se enamoró de la cultura y pasó varios años persiguiendo una segunda carrera de Torera; Fue esto lo que la llevó de vuelta a España.
Durante los últimos veinte años ha mantenido su
campamento base en Andalucía. Concentrándose en sus habilidades de pintora, mayormente acrílico sobre lienzo, portadas de libros y discos, illustrationes. decoracion grande para circo, etc. Incapaz de estarse quieta durante mucho tiempo, !leva regularmente su Galería Ambulante "Todos mis Muertos" en gira por la mayor parte de Europa, Escandinavia, los Balcanes y la India. Su propio y particular estilo inspirado en sus andanzas Bohemias, donde el erotismo, la religión, amor y muerte se pasean de la mano por el gran circo de la existencia...
